Not exactly what we had in mind for cruising in the Pacific Northwest.
BURRRR...
Definitely beautiful out, but glad it melted fast.
Snow is fun for a day.
Pretty as a picture, yes?
We really had no complaints, it was so lovely and so so peaceful. After being behaving ourselves for a year, and following the COVID 19 guidelines, this was a welcome relief from the same old thing everyday. We lived in the Sierra for 6 years, when weren't on our boat in Mexico or San Diego. Snow was always a happy sight, and when it got mushy, started melting, and turning dirty brown, off we went to the boat. Now our boat is basically in our backyard, so there was no running away. Spark LOVES running in snow.
I love snow, for a short time. I'm always the first person dressed warmly and out the door for a snow day.Darrell, tolerates the snow, he prefers palm trees and turquoise waters.
Gotta admit, snow makes everything a bit more festive, Valentine's Day was no exception. Off we went to town for a lovely dinner at Sogno di Vino, on their outside deck, with a nice gas fire on our table top! Cozy, tasty, and romantic!Chocolate Lava Cake. OH MY!
LET IT SNOW.
